Police: Driver Thwarts Robbery when he Curses at Robber

Heh, and they say cursing is bad…

Bethlehem police said a 41-year-old man delivering Chinese food thwarted a robbery when he cursed at a man who pulled a gun on him Saturday night.

Shortly before 10 p.m., the driver for China Star Restaurant said, a man tried to rob him in the 1040 block of Essex Court.

The driver told police he was approached by a man who demanded money and showed a handgun. The driver cursed at the man and said, “[Expletive] you, shoot me!” and the would-be robber ran away, police said.
