There is nothing right about this story:
A Pocono Summit man fired a shotgun into a 78-year-old woman’s home and a PPL electrical substation in Tobyhanna on Thursday morning, and an investigation revealed he also had been having sex with a 14-year-old girl, police said.
Jonathon Leach, 20, was arrested Thursday on a probation violation, but Pocono Mountain Regional police said he will be charged with discharging a firearm into an occupied structure, risking a catastrophe and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse.
Police went to a Fox Lane, Harvest Acres, home in response to a 5:25 a.m. report of a broken window. A shotgun blast had shattered the window of an unnamed 78-year-old woman’s home, police said. A police K9 dog then led officers to Leach, who was at the PPL substation, police said. The substation showed evidence it also had been fired on by Leach’s shotgun, police said. The shot had barely missed components critical to the substation’s operations, police said.
In questioning potential witnesses, officers found Leach had been having sex with a Monroe County girl, police said.
Leach will also be arraigned on charges of carrying a firearm without a license and corruption of a minor, police said.
